Also from Tuesday night we saw:Eastern boys over McMichael 92-70,

Page topped Smith 69-57 with Jordan Weethe, Julius Brooks, AJ Finney, and Mitchell Oats having big games. I was at this game and Page was rolling.

Dudley defeated NEG 71-34 boys and 63-33 girls….

High Point Andrews took two from WS Reagan, 56-50 boys with Charles Goodwin hitting for 16 and in the girls it was HPA 45, Reagan 25……

The Greensboro Day School boys topped the #3 team in the state as they went on the road to beat Charlotte Christian 71-56….

Northern ripped and RIP’d Rockingham County 91-51 in the boys game, but the RC girls won out over the Nighthawks, 60-38…..

The Northwest Guilford girls were winners over High Point Central in OT, 55-49. The NWG were also winners over HPC and we will have that score for you later today.(NWG 67, HPC 63 any takers???) I believe both NWG teams are (2-0) in the conference….

Grimsley boys over East Forsyth 61-58 with Keith Manley in charge as usual and the EF girls eased past Grimlsey, 63-61…..

The Smith girls took Page 61-46 and the Golden Eagles were very tall and strong inside. Chevena Pickard had her usual steady game for the Pirates, but she is going to have to get some help. Pickard was getting tired late in the game…..

Providence Day halted High Point Wesleyan 59-51, as JR(James Robbins) and JJ(Jon Johnson) couldn’t get it all done for the Trojans…..

We are wondering is it DUDLEY AT WESTERN GUILFORD tonight?????
That’s what we have been hearing but haven’t got the bright green light yet….Lots of guard action in this boy’s game….

Also from last night:
Southern Guilford at West Stokes ppd.
SWR at Ragsdale ppd.

The Coach Stevens at Western Alamance is Wayne Stevens and from what we are getting he is only coaching the boys team at WA……

Dudley will be playing @ Western tonight. The game has been rescheduled due to the exam schedule form what I was told by a parent of one of the players.

I saw the girls Northern/RC game and I must say Northern has not been playing their game. Its hard rebounding after a tough loss to Dudley. But I hope they get it together and whoop ass on the next round. Good to see Vontreece Hayes get good playing time on her birthday although they lost. She had 6pts 10rebounds 3 blocks for the night.

I am also glad to see Chevena doing so well @ Page. But in order for them to make a dent in the conference and state she gotta get some help. She can’t do it by herself. I would had hoped somebody would have stepped up by now. I will be keeping an eye out. They have a rematch against Grimsley on Friday. Good luck to them.

Dudley and Northern will meet again this year but tonight watch out for the Western boys at home against Dudley. WG is ready to win this time.
