Company will Manage Media Relations for NHRA Team

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – – Alan Johnson Al-Anabi Racing has signed a multi-year agreement with 3-G Sports, LLC to provide media relations for the new National Hot Rod Association team, it was announced today.

The team will field a Top Fuel dragster driven by Larry Dixon and a Funny Car driven by Del Worsham in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. 3-G Sports founder and president Rob Goodman will manage all media relations for the team.

“We are delighted to partner with 3-G Sports and have Rob Goodman as our director of media relations,” team owner Alan Johnson said. “I worked with Rob in my years with Team Winston and developed a relationship that has developed personally as well as professionally. It will be a pleasure to have him and his company handling this important area of our Alan Johnson Al-Anabi Racing partnership.”

Prior to founding 3-G Sports in 2004, Goodman worked in sports marketing at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company where he was the manager of Media Relations focusing on the NHRA, NASCAR and PGA TOUR sponsorships. He was the NHRA media contact for the series, then called NHRA Winston Drag Racing, and Team Winston, which fielded a Top Fuel dragster, a Funny Car and a Pro Stock Motorcycle. Previously, Goodman was a weekend sports anchor at WFMY-TV in Greensboro, N.C.
