  1. very nice wins for both Page and Northern. Forsyth Day and Ravenscroft are 2 of the better private school teams in the state. Heard throught the grapevine that Julius Brooks had a big day for Page. Anyone catch it?

  2. Ragsdale 87
    Westchester 66

Duece Bello, Jay Canty put on the show everyone was expecting tonight but Ragsdale was just too much for Westchester. Bello had several sky high jams but Canty matched him. Bello has 27 points and Canty had I’m pretty sure 24. Ragsdale led 25-14 after one and 49-30 at half time. They pushed the lead to 30 at the end of three 76-46. Bello and Nwamu had a big scoring run in Ragsdale’s bench and cut the lead to 16 pretty quick but the starters went back in to stem the tide.

As good as Canty was for Ragsdale tonight, the star of the show for the Tigers was Tyquan Roberts. Roberts scored a career high 25 including 3-3 on three pointers. Tyquan really asserted himself under the basket tonight too. If he keeps playing at this level Ragsdale is going to be tough to beat.

Wally Jones pumped in 16 and Josh White has 7 for Ragsdale who also had 13 points from the bench tonight.

Andy it was good to meet you tonight. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to talk more but I bumped into a high school friend I hadn’t seen in about 20 years.

  3. even though the Duke commit Ryan Kelly put up 47 on Northern wasn’t enough to beat the Nighthawks. The ending couldn’t of been any more perfect with sophomore Jacob Lawson connecting with a wind mill dunk to finish off Ravencroft.
