 UNCG (3-14, 2-6) at Furman (2-15, 0-8), 7 pm
Storylines

• UNCG faces Furman in the only meeting between the two teams this season. (In the SoCon’s unbalanced schedule this season, UNCG only faces Furman and Wofford once.) UNCG leads the all-time series, 8-7. The hometown team has won 13 of 14 meetings (discounting a tournament game in North Charleston two seasons ago), with UNCG owning the only road win here at Timmons Arena two seasons ago (a double-overtime win, 91-86). The Spartans are 1-6 in Greenville, 1-5 at Timmons Arena all-time.

• UNCG is playing its third game in five days. The Spartans lost to Samford, 76-61, at home on Saturday afternoon. Ben Stywall had 19 points and a season-high 14 rebounds for UNCG.

• UNCG has used 11 different starting line-ups in 16 games this season. UNCG had used the same lineup in the five of the last six (Koivisto was ill for the Jan. 22 Chattanooga game). All 10 scholarship players on the active roster have started at multiple games thus far and none have started every game. All 10 are averaging double figure minutes, as well –from Ben Stywall’s 31.5 per game down to DeAngelo Jackson’s 13.8 per contest.

• Ben Stywall leads the Southern Conference in double-doubles with seven this season, five of them in conference play. Stywall is averaging a league-best 10.3 rebounds per game in conference play this season.

Ben Stywall leads the league in double-doubles with seven this season, including five in league play.
