Keeping up the hot shooting in the second half the Villains put up 26 in the third quarter and cruised in the fourth. Bishop had 15 made three pointers for the game. Freshman Michael Paspy- 5 made three pointers, 22 points, 2 steals Aaron toomey 5 assists

Also last night we saw the Southeast Guilford girls bounce back after two losses last week, they defeated Asheboro last night, 69-39. The Ragsdale girls led by Lisa Archie and Courtney Arrington still have a lock on the top spot in the conference. The SEG boys led by Chuckie Becton’s 20 points got the win over Asheboro 67-56.

The Dudley boys paced by PJ Hairston’s 27 points posted a 79-51 Panther victory over Morehead. Panthers now stand at (18-1), still unbeaten in the Triad 3-A Conference with the game at Northern coming up this Tuesday. Ragsdale is (19-1) and Dudley stands at (18-1), can you say 3-A title game????? Northern says not us, they want Dudley on Tuesday and the NG Nighthawk Gym will be packed…..

Nothing on the Dudley girls or the Northwest Guilford girls, and we sure could use some scores on those or we may have to call Tom Keller or Robert Bell on their home phones……

The Northeast Guilford Rams grabbed two wins from Western Alamance on long-time AD John Primm’s last day at work. The NEG girls won a tight-rope affair, taking the win 36-35 over the Warriors and the Ram boys got a nice 62-52 win over WA.

High Point Andrews may see Ragsdale in the State 3-A Regionals at the Greensboro Coliseum, you never know, but we do know the Red Raiders are still unbeaten conference and they are now (17-4) overall after last night’s 63-39 win over Glenn. Since Tony Washington and Jordan Reid joined the team the Raiders are getting even stronger. The HPA ladies found the win column after falling down a bit last week, but Friday night it was HPA over Glenn, 55-47.

The Bishop McGuinness girls joined the Bishop boys as winners rolling over West Wilkes, 66-24.

We didn’t have the score on the NWG girls, but the Viking boys defeated Smith by twelve, 68-56, with freshman Adam Coble netting 13 points and 10 boards for the Viks.

*****See if you can get us those scores on the Dudley and NWG girls, we would really appreciate it. Don’t forget Reidsville vs. Eastern Guilford at UNCG, girls game at 6pm, boys at 7:30. NG boys are on the road up in the Philly/NJ area.*****
