Northern Guilford Boys Basketball at Prime Time Shootout‏

Northern Guilford improved to 17-3 with an impressive 77-55 victory over nationally reknowned Our Savior New American (Centereach, NY) at the Prime Time Shootout at Villanova University in Philadelphia.

Junior Jonathan Frye had 20 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the Nighthawks. Sophomore Jacob Lawson had 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Sophomore Michael Neal had 10 points and 7 assists. Junior Dylan Berry had 8 points and junior Asad Lamot had 6 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Freshman John McBeth came off the becnh to get 7 points and 5 rebounds. Juniors Victor Dillard and J.R. Gant tallied 7 and 5 rebounds apiece to help on the defensive end.

  1. Don’t know where Christian McCain was at Saturday, but he will have to be there tomorrow night when Northern plays Dudley at NG. The Nighthawks need him in order to beat the Panthers or least that’s my opinion. The home court should be a big boost too.

    The box score above adds up to 77 for Northern, so he wasn’t there on Saturday. Has he started taking football visits????? Just a thought. He is only a junior, but those football guys do come after you hard…..

  2. I don’t think he was in the last box score either Andy. I doubt he would take football visits and miss basketaball games, but you never know I guess. He has turned into a stud basketball player, I just wish he was still with my Pirates. One can only imagine how muc better they would be. Good kid though, great competitor ,and I am glad he seems to be doing well. Hope he isn’t hurt.
