  1. Dudley Stud

Dudley girls are going to ropm through their conferene tournament with and average margin of victory by 35 or more points and then win the State. The boys will win the tourney by an average of 10 points or more and win State. Northern is not ready to take the next step, but Coach Price and his squad is prime and have been there before!

  2. Pete

Helen Terry is the best basketball player in the area and maybe in the State. She will be Conference Player of the Year again. No other girls are even close.

  3. LETS GO HIGH POINT CENTRAL WE WINNING THIS WHOLE THING LOOK OUT FOR NUMBER #13 HE’S HOT RITE NOW! RIP COACH J GRANDMOTHER!

  4. bIG jOE

Who do you think are the top ten boys and girls players in highschool this year in the area?

  5. Will Ragsdale be #1 since GDS lost? That’s how it goes in college ball, if you lose you move down. Ragsdale should be #1.

  6. I had High Point Wesleyan in the polls both girls and boys the two seasons prior to this one, but with several changes over there, this in the Trojan coaching staff, I decided not to include them this year.

We still cover HPW, but when we bring them back into the polls we are going to have to branch out and cover more teams in the process also. It will mean we will need to open up to include Caldwell, Oak Ridge, and High Point Christian. We may even need to bring Bishop and Vandalia into the polls and it will take some hard line evaluating to match up all of the schools and to break down fair differences between the publics and the privates.

It’s usually pretty cut and dry with the GDS boys. They will always be at or near the top of the poll. They will always demand a certain degree of excellence from their boys program.

Thanks for the question and I hope I’m not being evasive. Let’s hope the info response fits the subject matter.
