Northeast defeated Western Guilford to advance to the semifinals of the Triad Conference tournament. score 59-55
Darius White led the way for the Rams with 21 points. Antwan Wilkerson had a solid performance with 16.
Reggie Perkins hit 5 three’s to lead Western with 24 points. Monta Alston chipped in 9 points.

I was talkn and jokn around with the coaches from NEG minutes before the game. When they came out to play, they def had their game faces on and so did their players. A different look then they had earlier in the season. Congrats to them on the upset win as I know it was needed to stay alive and keep the tradition of a NEG/Dudley matchup in the conf tourney. And by the way they have been playn lately they just mite give Dudley a game. I believe they only lost by 10 @ the last meeting. Although the girls got blew out last night, I’m sure the boys can give a better game. Good luck to them
