Moore does it again, Three-run HR vs. USC-Upstate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Kevin McKague went 4-for-6 with two doubles, two runs scored and three runs batted in and Clint Moore(Grimsley HS) keyed an eight-run fifth with a three-run home run as Army raced past South Carolina-Upstate 17-10, Friday afternoon(February 27) at Harley Park.

The Black Knights (2-2) fell behind early 3-1 before tying the score at 3-3 with two runs in the top of the third inning on an RBI single by McKague and a run-scoring double by Ben Koenigsfeld.

Clint Moore smashed his second home run in four games after hitting six round-trippers last spring … Moore is hitting third in head coach Joe Sottolano’s batting order after batting leadoff last season … Moore is batting .389 with one double, one triple, two home runs and a team-best eight runs batted in so far this spring …
