Great Job by the Quakers! They have to go to Salem and try and beat the defending D3 champs. This will be a tall order. If they get by Washington, they will probably get to play Richard Stockton. When I was younger, Franklin and Marshall was one our biggest rivals. Glenn Robinson is still coaching them some 30 years later. He will have them ready, but they are a very young team. I would love to see the Quakers bring another title to Guilford County!

I don’t think people really have grasped the significance of this accomplishment by the Guilford College Men’s Basketball team! The parity that is amongst the lower divisions in college athletics, whether it is basketball or any other sport is significant! I am an alumnus of the school and am very proud of this more than the fact that my Duke Blue Devils won the ACC tournament title! This is also even more impressive due to the low budget of most NCAA Division III athletic departments. I know first hand the resources that are available to these athletes and they do a lot with very little!
