Today, the Greensboro Coliseum Complex will host capacity crowds attending first round games of the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

In anticipation of a high volume of traffic surrounding the Coliseum, the Greensboro Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Greensboro Police Department (GPD) will be instituting the reversible lane traffic system on High Point Road. The reversible lane system will begin at approximately 10:15 a.m. to provide patrons with a speedy entrance to, and exit from, the facility. Additionally, the GPD will be managing major intersections in the vicinity of the Coliseum and variable messaging systems will be deployed to advise motorists with parking and traffic information.

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex, GDOT and GPD advise all patrons to plan to arrive early and carpooling is strongly encouraged!
