  1. So P.J. Hairston does not make the district 7 team? Maybe i’m missing something? I know from watching him play three times against us he should be on the team. I mean we are talking about the best players right? P.J. is one of the best players in the South East let alone North Carolina.

  2. i think that this is an award voted on by coaches and each player’s coach has to nominate their player if they want them voted on.. blame his coach not the voters.

  3. Dudley did not join the Coaches association on time so the Panther players weren’t eligible.

    Next shot, next year.

Just to verify. That’s the word I got from the chairman of the District 7 Coaches Committee.

  4. Well i’m sure PJ will land on a more note worthy teams like All State etc…….
what its worth………….No I don’t want to blame anyone. I thought we had enough of pointing fingers!!!!!!!!!!!! It was simply a question! PJ does not need this to validate him.

    NightHawks……………….

  5. PJ should be on the list, but this is his coach error he does not pay attention to detail and develop his players thats why three of his players are transferring from this year team. he thinks everybody will wait on him and dudley just like the little four they did not play in. 4a is a beast and we (DUDLEY) are going to found out the HARD WAY!

  6. Dudley fan………….

So what players are transferring out? Can you e-mail me the names?

  7. I hear that Dudley will be receiving some players from Veritas Academy. Some post players 6’9 and 6’10. If this is true, they may be able to compete in 4A afterall. With Trey and Biggie graduating they definitely need some strong inside presence and they just dont have it with the current posts they have.

  8. WE HAVE HAD ALOT OF GOOD PLAYERS THAT COME FROM THE DUDLEY RANKS WE USED THEM UP THEN MAYBE ONE MAY GO TO A NICE COLLEGE WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER KIDS THATS ON THE TEAM THEY JUST HANG-AROUND TOWN AND NEVER GET A CHANCE TO SHINE BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER ABOUT DEVELOPING THOSE KIDS TO MAKE IT AT THE NEXT LEVEL AND ONES THAT DO NEVER DO ANYTHING AT THE NEXT LEVEL BECAUSE ONCE AGAIN THEY WHERE NOT DEVOLOPED IN HIGH SCHOOL. X-DUDLEY FAN IS OUT!!!!!!!!

  9. X-Dudley fan, I understand your point and frustration! But at the same time how many other schools does this type of thing happen at? A lot more than we can count. Regardless if it is in high school, college, or pro’s quite often when a player no longer has the tools or can’t make it to the next level the get left by the way side. Parents cannot place the future of their kids in their coaches hands, players cannot place their future in their coaches hands. Some day the ball is going to stop bouncing, and you have to rely on your mind to get you through life so that is why it is important for kids to get all of the educational possible. I’m not saying all is perfect at Dudley but all is not bad either. I played football for Dudley personally I thought I was good enough to play at the college level but things did not work out like that I never received scholarship for sports but see I had some self motivation and made it through college anyway. So kids if your reading do you part and don’t place limits on yourself because you can do a lot more than “Shoot the rock”, “Run the rock”, “Catch the rock”!!!!!!!!

  10. How come three PANTHER players are not on this team.

    A CONSPIRACY!
