“March Badness” means good money for Bobby Lashley

Former WWE star Bobby Lashley made $40,000 for his second MMA fight on Saturday night’s “March Badness” card in Florida. Lashley’s earnings was the most among the MMA fighters on the card.

Lashley was guaranteed $30,000 for his fight and he earned an additional $10,000 for defeating Jason Guida, whose earnings were half of Lashley’s guaranteed pay.

Lashley will also receive a portion of PPV buys from the mixed boxing/MMA card. Roy Jones, Jr. organized the show and he will receive two-thirds of net profit from the event. Jones’s opponent, Omar Sheik, was the second-highest paid competitor on the card. He earned $50,000 in defeat of Jones.
