Polchinski(Ragsdale HS) drilled a walk-off three-run home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning and Army battled from behind after squandering a three-run lead in the top of the frame as the Black Knights fought back for a dramatic 9-8 defeat of nationally ranked Illinois, last Friday afternoon(March 20).
Clint Moore(Grimsley HS) extended his hitting streak to six games with a first-inning double in Army’s 2-0 win over Long Island on Wednesday afternoon . Moore missed three games last week on the Florida trip while suffering from flu-like symptoms. Moore is batting .347 for the Black Knights (8-8) overall.
