Canes/Devils set to meet in First Round of Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Carolina Hurricanes will open their Stanley Cup first-round playoff series against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., the NHL announced Sunday night.

The first two games of the best-of-seven series will be played at the Prudential Center in Newark — Wednesday and Friday. The series then shifts back to Raleigh for two games, April 19 and April 21.

If necessary, Game Five will be April 23 in Newark and Game Six on April 26 at the RBC Center. A seventh game would be April 28 in Newark.

All games other than Game Six have 7:30 starting times and will be televised by FSCarolinas. Game Six would be shown by Versus with a starting time TBA.

    This should be a pretty entertaining series. I like the Canes in 6 games.
