Greensboro, NC— Officers say they responded to a vehicle collision in Greensboro Saturday evening on West Terrell Street.

During the investigation they were able to determine that Jeremiah Wills, Jr was riding a 2004 Kawasaki ZR1000 east bound on Terrell Street.

Willis was later identified as a teacher and track coach at Page High School in Greensboro.(I do not believe Mr. Wills was the head track coach.)

Investigators say Willis lost control of the bike and hit a vehicle parked on the street. The car was unoccupied.

Willis died from his injuries that he received in the collision.

A Guilford County Schools spokesperson says Wills started with the school system in August 2000. He was a Career and Technical Education teacher for Page High School.

Grief counselors were at the school to talk with students.

  1. David Rogers is still the track coach. Wills was an assistant for the sprinters.

Why can’t these guys get these facts right?!? Come on Fox 8….

  2. This is a tragedy and all you three can write about is how the facts are wrong. At least pay tribute to this man’s legacy.
