Coach K may have something to say, but not Today!

I had a call in to Coach Stan Kowalewski on Tuesday and he said there’s nothing to say as of today.

For all the people that were saying Coach K needs to quit talking, they got their wish.

This may turn out to be a quiet week and a rest period in the on-going drama that was and still is, Northern Guilford Athletics.

We will try and keep you up-to-date, but as of Today, Coach K has nothing to say!

Let’s hope the kids can focus on the End-of-Year testing which may now be just about over and the Exams are ready to kick in, and the kids do really need to be concentrating on those FINALS!

I ran into Big Max Miller(Grimsley Class of 2009) downtown last night and he said they(The Seniors) are done and Max said this Sunday, June 7, will be the BIG Graduation Day at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Good luck to Max as heads off to Forsyth Tech and good luck as well, to all the Seniors that will be graduating this coming weekend.

let’s not all pretend this matters at this point…the whole train wreck that everyone wants to gawk at is what everyone cares about…our kids have been thrown to the wolves with all the distractions and infighting at Northern, there has been NO consistency with the academics at Northern since this all broke.

WOW…let’s not blame the one’s that break all the rules, let’s blame the one’s that bring it to light and investigate it. No wonder that place is in such a mess.

It is up to the parents and GOOD teachers to help the kids overcome the distractions, but just because there is a distraction, you can’t let wrong doing go unchecked. Get real man.

you are reading WAY to much into what I posted, I do not mean this at all!…the MAIN point I am trying to make is it has been such a freakin mess out at NGHS since this started. I do not believe there has been anyone in charge of the effort to make sure the kids that had nothing to do w/ this situation are not adversely affected…What I am saying everyone is so pre-occupied w/ this train wreck and now during exam week we act concerned about how this is affecting the kids?

I believe everyone involved at the school is just trying to get out of Dodge as quickly as possible and the kids are going to get the grades they are gonna get w/ no consideration for everything they have been put through…because I can assure you they have been adversely affected by all the commotion.

I must then apologize for misreading your post….there are many that feel the “wrong” way about this situation in my humble opinion…you are obviously not one of them

Looks like you and I are on the same side:

“It is up to the parents and GOOD teachers to help the kids overcome the distractions”

saw this post on another message board:

per a parent of a NG athlete, the NAACP decided even they wouldn’t touch that nonsense with a 10 ft pole after they met with Mo Green. I’m sure he shared quite a bit of info with them that made them realize fairly quickly that they were stepping into a **** pile formerly known as the Northern Guilford basketball debacle.

    Northern just remember this:

When George Washington came through Guilford County during the revolutionary war…he said he didn’t like the people here, he thought something was wrong with them……to this day I believe all the mean and crazy people move to Guilford County…just look around…lol

    I will say this, however,

You kids that were not part of this AT ALL (let’s not pretend the families directly involved did not know what was going on)

You HAVE done nothing wrong……hold your heads high, you are winners.

Maybe that’s what Eric meant……seems I have a hard time figuring out what people really mean. The part about “nothing other schools didn’t do to” seems to excuse the behavior.
