Andy,
I wanted to give you a heads up in that I nominated Tripp Welborne for the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame. I also have my own blog where it just posted on the subject of this well deserved nomination.

I am sure he will get in and I remember we had talked about this last year and just got in touch with Tripp this past weekend to fill out the form for the sports commission. Take care talk soon.

  1. Thanks Andy, let me know if you find out who was selected as a heads up. I don’t know how you feel about it but I think a 2 time all american at Michigan with a high school football record of 41-1-1 is enough for me to induct in to the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame.

  3. We’re all pulling for Tripp to hit the Hall.

    Tripp was a radio guest of mine several times back in the mid-90’s and always did a super job. At the time he was working for Wachovia.
