Northwest Guilford is proud to announce that senior wrestler Michael Harper has signed a national letter of intent to attend The Citadel next school year.
Michael is a four year varsity wrestler at Northwest High, earning all conference recognition three years and was selected the Metro Conference wrestler of the year this past year. His junior year, he won the Midwest regional at 140 pounds and finished 3rd in the 4A state wrestling tournament.
This past season, he repeated as Midwest regional champion at 152 pounds and finished 5th in the state. Michael has won 124 career matches at Northwest, placing him 5th in school history.
