McBride to Texas and Tuttle to Cincinnati on Day Two of the MLB Draft

Nick McBride of Ragsdale goes in the 5th round to the Texas Rangers. (The Rangers farm team for developmental Class A is located in Hickory and you might see McBride pitching at NewBridge Bank Park for the Hickory Crawdads against the Greensboro Grasshoppers next year.)

Daniel Tuttle of Randleman goes in the 5th round to the Cincinnati Reds.(The Reds Double A team is now located in Zebulon and operates as the Carolina Mudcats, who used to be tied in with the Florida Marlins, but now the Mudcats are with the Cincinnati Reds and you may see Tuttle in Zebulon, down below Raleigh, in a few years.)

*****Congratulations to both of these young men and thanks to Kirk who passed this info along to us this afternoon.*****
