Proehlific Power news

Proehlific Power got back on the field Saturday night in Chester South Carolina. After returning from Omaha with a 3rd place finish the Power beat Chester South Carolina 6-2 on Saturday night. David Francis pitched 6 innings allowing 3 hits on 5 strikeouts and allowing no runs. Kyle Dobis pitched the 7th and 8th allowing 2 runs, and coach Justin Smith handed the ball to his closer Brandon Culbreth in the 9th. Culbreth has 8 saves on the year. The Power improved to 15-3 Saturday night. The Power plays tonight at 6:00 pm at Northern Guilford against Thomasville-Davidson Legion. Brent Moore North Carolina A & T signee with get the start tonight for Proehlific.

Also the Bob Doss Invitational will start Wed night at New Bridge Bank for opening ceremonies beginning at 7:00 pm. The tournament games will begin on the 3rd of July at Northern Guilford, Memorial Stadium and Stoner White Stadium. We look forward to the city of Greensboro supporting this tourney and please lets give back to a great man BOB DOSS!

  1. Proehlific Power beat Thomasville/Davidson County American Legion team Sunday night. The Power pounded out 17 hits including 5 home runs. Cody Westmoreland, Kyle Dobis, D.J. Russ all hit a homer with Logan Self going yard twice. Brent Moore got the victory. The Power’s next game will be in the Bob Doss July 4th Tournament on Thursday night at 7:00 at Stoner-White.
