GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference unveiled the 2010 Women’s Basketball Tournament logo today as announced by Commissioner John Swofford.

The 33rd annual ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament is set for March 4-7, 2010, and marks the 11th consecutive year the four-day event will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The 2010 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament logo was developed and designed by Richard Schoenberger of Manor House Graphics in Asheboro, N.C.

Last year’s tournament continued to reach new milestones after it set four single-session attendance records and a new tournament total attendance record with 73,187 fans over four days.  Maryland and Duke provided a thrilling championship game as the Terrapins claimed their eighth ACC title and first since 1989 with a 92-89 overtime showing.  The overtime was the first in the ACC final since the Terrapins lost to Virginia, 106-103, in three extra sessions in 1993, a classic some consider the best game involving two ACC teams.
