Post-WWE: Now UFC-Brock Lesnar versus Frank Mir this Saturday night

Brock Lesnar will battle Frank Mir in a major UFC/MMA bout this Saturday night on PPV and many feel a victory on Saturday will signify that Lesnar has reached the top of the Mixed Martial Arts profession.

Lesnar chose the vocation of Professional Wrestling right out of college(Univeristy of Minnesota Gopher) and he also excelled in that line of sports entertainment. He made tons of money wrestling and found life on the road to be a bit of a strain, so if you will, take a look at what Jason Powell from prowrestling.net has for us and then be sure to click on the link at the end to read all about Brock Lesnar and his MMA life, his wife the former Rena Mero(Sable) and other very interesting notes, stories and details.

It’s a lengthy read, but believe me, well worth your time. In fact, you may want to go back and read it for a second time around. Don’t forget the link at the end of Powell’s post.

from Jason Powell at www.prowrestling.net:

Brock Lesnar said signing with WWE was an easy decision because he was broke at the time they offered him $250,000. “Here I was wondering how I was going to buy myself a beer and a steak after the national tournament, reaching down and pulling out lint,” Lesnar said. “It was pretty easy. Go with a sure thing. And the sure thing at the time was becoming a pro wrestler.”

However, Lesnar wasn’t fond of life on the road. “You’re in a different city every night,” he said. “You can be whoever you want to be. You can sit in your hotel room and rot to death or you can go out and … just use your imagination. And I didn’t use my imagination, I was living it. Really, I was a young man, 22 years old. Bank accounts overflowing and everything else.”
