Area baseball tonight

Palomino action at Stoner-White Stadium involving the Elks and Reno’s and possibly the Diamondbacks. Gets under way at 6pm.

Scrimmages with both Greensboro Colt teams(Green and Grey) at War Memorial Stadium.

The Proehlific Power has something coming up this weekend at Northern Guilford and they may be starting tonight.

Carmine Pagano and the GBC/Team Acceleration crew will have a 12 and Under team in the Inner City Classic coming to Greensboro in August. Carmine is the former strength and conditioning coach for the San Diego Padres and he has worked closely with Mitch Atkins(Chicago Cubs Triple A) and Jeremy Synan(Greensboro Grasshoppers).

  1. Carmine Pagano is without a doubt the best personal trainer in the area. My son had the priviledge to workout with Carmine, and I have never seen anyone better at connecting with each kid individually and getting the max out of their potential. Hats off and many thanks to Carmine!!!

  2. i think it’s renos vs dbacks at 7p tonite at stoner-white. definitely not the elks.

  3. Greensboro Green looked very strong tonight against the boys from Rockingham County. Pitching was very good and deep along with strong defensive effort (0 errors). Hitting was 9 or 10 hits in the 7-2 win with only one error given up by Rockingham. Look forward to seeing more of this squad of very good ballplayers. May see a few college scouts coming out to watch. Didn’t get to see much of the younger Gray squad in the first game as I arrived late. Go Greensboro Green and Gray!!! Keep up the Greensboro Colt tradition and enjoy the new relationships you are forming and memories you are creating. Good job on helping to spruce up Memorial stadium!!!

  4. Good crowd at the scrimmage games tonight. Quite a number of old timers out and about cheering on the Greensboro boys. The community needs to keep on coming out as the boys approach the Colt Region and Zone tournaments. Go Greensboro Green and Gray!!!!
