I was looking for Jenny Finch and she was no place to be seen, but I did run into Greg, Taylor and Will Johnson and the HiToms ran into a buzzsaw on Saturday night as the Moors topped Post 87’s Legion squad, 8-3 in front of a raucus crowd at historic Finch Field in T’ville.
The best-of-five series is now tied at (2-2) as the the Boys of Summer head over to Mooresville for the deciding fifth game this evening.
The HiToms need this one with Kyle Brandenburg, Kevin Sanders, Nathan Midkiff, Mike Whited, Alex Walters, Tyler Hickernell, Jacob Cadle, Alex White, Cameron Hendrix and others going for the berth in the State Legion Tournament at Shelby.
We should have another update for you on Monday and the lady at the gate said we were the only media there covering the game in Thomasville.
