Greensboro College athletics is pleased to announce its football public address and PrideTV announcers for its six home games this year. Clay Alexander returns as public address announcer. Bringing the action to fans via PrideTV will be Danny Mackey ’03 and Jennifer King.

Alexander, an associate director of admissions at GC, returns after a 5-year hiatus. The “voice of The Pride” offers a very professional and exciting style that will add energy to the Jamieson Stadium experience.

Mackey will again provide football play-by-play on PrideTV. He has worked the past three years on numerous basketball and football video casts. In addition to being an alumni, Mackey is a former director of student activities at GC. Both Mackey and Alexander won the Power Pride Award for dedication to GC athletics.

Dan “Count It!” Mackey

Although a newcomer to broadcasting, King has been employed as an assistant women’s basketball coach at GC since 2006. She is a former standout hoopster, but also is a quarterback for the professional Carolina Queens football team. King will partner with Mackey on PrideTV and provide color commentary.
