GREENSBORO, NC – Guilford’s volleyball team held off visiting Peace College Wednesday night, 3-2. The Quakers won the first two sets, 25-11, 25-13, before the Pacers rallied to win the next two sets, 25-16, 25-23. The Quakers won the back-and-forth fifth set, 19-17.
Mary Moody paced the Quakers with 16 kills, three aces and added 13 digs. Taylor Phillips chipped in with 42 assists and 12 digs.
Elizabeth Evanoff led Peace with nine kills and Olivia Griffin had 27 assists.
