Greensboro College seniors Michael Caparaso (Morganton, NC /Freedom) and Kacie Hyatt (Randleman, NC/Southern Guilford) have been named Pride athletes of the month.
Caparaso is in his third straight year as Greensboro College’s starting quarterback. He needs just 755 yards in his senior season to become The Pride’s all-time passing leader.
Cap got off to a great start in GC’s first game. He threw for one touchdown and rushed for the winning score in the 12-7 Soup Bowl win over Guilford on Sept. 5th.
Kacie Hyatt is poised for a great senior season. Last year she set school record with 562 kills and was a first team all conference selection.
Hyatt was a USA South second team pick and a USAS tournament team selection as a sophomore. A native of Randleman, NC, Hyatt majors in business at Greensboro College.
