  1. The AP poll voting is done using a pull down menu, not just fill in 10 teams. All teams are listed by classification and in alphabetical order. If you happen to pull down the menu and select another team, and it can be very easy to do, and do not go back and check your votes then your giving a vote to a school that more than likely does not deserve a vote. My guess is those two Grimsley votes were supposed to go to Page or possibly Dudley. Following alpabetical order I believe it lists Greensboro Dudley Greensboro Grimsley Greensboro Page.

    Just a thought.

  2. Emily I saw Page play Ragsdale last Friday and I can tell you no one was going to vote for Page after that game, I still do not understand why Page sent there JV team to that game Friday night.

  3. Apparently some people did…..”Others receiving vote: Greensboro Page 10″ This article has nothing to do with the game. I’m giving an example as to why Grimsley may have received two votes, considering Page and Dudley are listed above and below Grimsley on the pull down list.

  4. Apparently, the voters felt Page was NOT 4A top 10 material after that spanking at the hands of Ragsdale. What difference does it make if your program is listed in the AP poll anyway? If you keep winning you’ll eventually be at the top of the poll and crowned the state champion right. If I were Page I would be greatly concerned about a very good NE Guilford club right now. The Rams very well could make Page “walk the plank” again this Friday if the Pirates come out un-focused.
