1) Ragsdale(6-0) Crushed WS Parkland 42-0 and now meet East Forsyth(2-4) in Jamestown this Friday…..

2) Dudley(5-1) Took out Smith 22-0 at Tarpley and this week the Panthers take to the road to face winless Southern Alamance at SA.

3) High Point Central(5-1) The Bison held up their end of the third ranking as they held off East Forsyth 20-14 and this week HPC is on vacation with a trip to NWG on the way next Friday……..

4) Page(5-1) The Pirates did a 49-21 number on the WG Homecoming and this week they get to rest up and get ready/healthy for Grimsley coming around on the 9th of October…..

5) Northern Guilford(4-1) The Nighthawks nested and bested Burlington Williams, 57-14, one week ago and now they get their toughest 3-A test of the regular season, with the road trip to Mebane to face #3 ranked Eastern Alamance, this Friday night…….

6) Northwest Guilford(4-2) The Vikings went for two and lost by one 21-20 to a very sound Glenn Bobcat team and now they must go all-out at SWG this week.

7) Northeast Guilford(3-3) NEG beat a South Granville squad 35-7, that featured a Bosley kid, who is among the state’s 50 all-time leading rushers and this Friday the Rams are off, before going to Asheboro next week…..

8 Smith(3-3) The Golden Eagles felt kind of like the Golden Beagles as they put up a good fight, but they got dogged by Dudley 22-0 and now they must rise up and fly high again when they host the SEG Falcons this Friday night. Which of the two birds is the most endangered species……

9) High Point Andrews(2-3) The Red Raiders had a bye last Friday evening and now they get back to work when they go face the Lexington Yellow Jackets this week…..

10) Southwest Guilford(3-2) SWG fell hard at home 31-0 to WS Reynolds and this Friday the Cowboys will face their Highway 68 neighbors, Northwest Guilford……

11) Western Guilford(2-4) The Hornets were whipped by Page last week and now face a must-win situation this Friday night as they travel to meet Grimsley in a Metro 4-A battle at Jamieson Stadium…….

12) Southern Guilford(2-3) SG stole the three-in-one from Trinity, 34-6, and this week the Storm will try and do the same thing to the Randleman Tigers at SG’s C.K. Siler Stadium.

13) Grimsley(1-5) The Whirlies arrived in their 35-0 win at SEG and we find if they are back to stay as they host Western in the Metro matchup this Friday.

14) Southeast Guilford(2-4) The Falcons are riding and feeling a bit low as they head over to Smith to meet the Eagles in hopes of locking down the first SEG conference win of the year.

15) Eastern Guilford(0-5) What we have here is probably the most talented (0-5) team in the state and they will be in a state of shock if they can’t snag a win at Morehead in Eden this Friday…..As Elvis once said, it’s now or never for EG and Mr. Morehead at Morehead!

  1. knowit all: If EG comes out like they did against EA look out. dont sleep on them because there 0-5 i think they’ll come together as a team there defense we show and there offense and i pick EG to win big 45-14

  2. Knowit all:I agree with both of you. If EG loses just forfeit the rest of the season but I think highly they’ll win. FootballKing: If EG comes fired up like they did against Eastern Alamance, EG has there first win this season. I know EA vs NG is the game of the week im going to pick EA in this one Keneen is a great athlete but he cant do it by himself.
    My picks for this week.
    EG over Morehead 35-7
    EA over NG 45-14
    Smith over SE 21-14
    WG over Grimsley 14-0
    SW over NW 36-28
    Dudley over SA 45-7

  3. NWhero I agree with all but SE and Grimsley games.

SE over Smith 21-7, and Grimsley over Western 35-7.

I’m not sure about the NW/SW game either. Depends on who scores early.
