One-and-one Trivia: Bobcats-Hornets, one ticket for you and one for your friend Part VIIII or IX

We were a little unsure about this one, since I haven’t traveled to Rome recently, but what in the world is it for Roman numeral number 10????? Are both of the above listings considered admissable in a court of law? Here’s our trivia #9 or either VIIII/IX and you take your pick and then jump in and get your ticket…….

IX is starting to look more recognizable from the days when the people in Rome, Georgia did as the Romans did when they were in Rome….

Hey you learn something new and current every day and if we could just learn to spell all words without have to consult Mr. Webster!

  1. Jerry Eaves. Played at A&T. Coach of A&T. Asst 99-02. BTW in roman numerals, you can have no more than 3 of the same character consecutively, if I remember correctly.

  2. Maybe 3X is a charm. After further consideration, I say Gene Littles as it looks like Jerry Eaves did not play college ball in GC.

  3. I think you are right on the Roman numerals call, but for the former Charlotte Hornets coach that played college ball in Guilford County and was once an assistant college coach here, it was not Eaves….

Question is still open and you have to go back a little further.

  4. You got it and congrats for hanging in there. Please send me your mailing address to durhamandy@live.com and tickets go in the mail on Monday….

(BTW, Mr. Eaves was an NCAA Champ as a player at Louisville with Scooter and Rodney McCray and ‘Never Nervous” Pervis Ellison, while Gene Littles was a star back at High Point College…..)
