DB Mario Hill at the top of the hill at Army(West Point)

I had a bunch of the local kids on here earlier in the week, noting what they are accomplishing on the college scene, after coming through the Guilford County ranks as high school players and we left out one, Mario Hill and we had to go do the research on Mario at goarmysports.com and here’s what we found out about the former Grimsley Whirlie:

Mario Hill #1 defensive back for the Army Black Knights at West Point is 6’0 185 and a senior…..Mario has been in all six games for Army this season and he has started all six of those games and has recorded 14 solo tackles….plus 5 assists, for a total of 19 Tackles….

Mario has 1 interception….
He has broken up 5 passes and deflected 6 passes from his DB position…….
Mario has also forced one fumble………

Some very complete numbers for senior DB Mario Hill of Army, and his Black Knights defeated SEC-member Vanderbilt, on a field goal that hit the left upright and stayed in for Army, in their win over the Commodores at West Point last Saturday, where another former Whirlie, Megan Moore, was cheering Mario and the Black Knights on, as member of the Army(West Point) cheerleading squad…….

  1. thanks for putting up the info. Mario is a very special talent. He locked down Massoqui of the Cleveland Browns his senior year @ Charlotte Independence. Thats how he earned his scholarship to army.
