Platt(Ragsdale) and Adams(Williams) earn conference honors for Greensboro College

Greensboro College’s Andreas Platt (Greensboro, NC/Ragsdale) and Seth Adams (Burlington, NC/Willliams) have earned football defensive and offensive rookie honors by the USA South Athletic Conference. The duo were instrumental in The Pride’s 27-24 win at Ferrum last Saturday.

Football Defensive Player of the Week
Platt, a senior defensive back, had 12 total tackles and one interception in a 27-24 win over USA South foe Ferrum. Platt accounted six solo tackles and six assisted take downs. His interception came in the second quarter and helped The Pride score their first touchdown of the game. Platt also returned three punts for a total of 31 yards in the win.

Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Adams, a freshman quarterback from Burlington, North Carolina, came off the bench to total four passing touchdowns in a 27-24 win over USA South foe Ferrum. Adams was 18-for-30 for 286 yards and the four scores, which matched a school record. He also rushed for eight yards in the win.
