HS football Guilford County checklist

From last week’s games there were some tremendous scoring efforts with:

Keenan Allen five touchdowns scored for Northern Guilford in the Nighthawks 63-7 win over Rockingham County. Two TD passes by Rocco Scarfone for NG.

Rayshawn Trader from Northeast Guilford had three TD runs and picked up 150 yards on just 3 carries, while teammate Trey Ingram up put 4 TD’s all on the ground in the Rams win over SW Randolph.

Drew Rogers and Lenny Gordon from Page. Rogers with 232 yards on 20 carries to go along with 4TD’s and 3TD’s from Gordon on 93 yards off of 11 carries…..Page Pirate kicker Austin Anthony was perfect again, going 7-7 in the 49-28 win over Southern Alamance……

Travores Jenkins and Tre Brown from Dudley. Back-to-back interception returns for touchdowns, by these two young men sealed the win for the Panthers over Western Guilford. The Dudley defense was stout throughout the game. Senior JR Peterson had a TD run and was successful two, two-point conversion plays for the Panthers…..

Warren Scott, Southern Guilford. The Storm’s Scott rushed for 138 yards on 22 carries, but the County’s rusher did not score this week…..

Josh Morehead from Eastern Guilford. The Wildcats another close one 29-27 to Western Alamance, but it was no fault of Josh. Morehead had 2TD’s rushing on short runs and he also threw for 2 touchdowns…..

Joe Rossabi for the Grimsley Whirlies. Joe hits a field goal to score the only points of the game as Grimsley edges Smith 3-0 for the Whirlies second conference win of the year and their second overall victory………

Matt Pawlowski, Northwest Guilford. Matt hit for 209 yards on 12-24 passing for the Vikings with one TD and a two-point conversion pass in NWG loss to WS Parkland……
