Does the higher seed play at home?
Andy said,
John, that’s what we’re thinking…..Page at home and I would think Grimsley at home too. We need a time out to talk to Dr. Smith from Grimsley just to be sure……

Grimsley will probably play West Forsyth in 2nd round (they’re ranked 4th in the State – Grimsley is ranked 12th)…
Page will play most likey play Providence (out of Charlotte) in 2nd round although RJ Reynolds has potential to surprise Providence.
Andy said,
Coach Herk DeGraw always told his teams to never look ahead, but sometimes, I guess you have to…..

Congrats to Ragsdale who knocked off the #4 team in the state West Forsyth 1-0. Scoreless game, four scorless OTs and Ragsdale won 2-1 on penalty kicks. Looks like that brutal schedule this paid off, just like it always does.
Steve said,
Mark..congrats to Ragsdale…impressive win. Always glad when Guilford Co teams come out on top. Let’s hope Grimsley gets through opening round tonight so we can have a rematch. Even though Whirlies won against Ragsdale earlier this season 1-0, it was a battle for both teams. Should be a good matchup.
