Hockey’s 50th Anniversary In Greensboro

November 11, 1959 the first professional ice hockey game was played in Greensboro, NC. To mark the occasion, there will be 3 nights of celebrations. Players from past teams, from the Generals to the Monarchs have been invited to meet and mingle with fans. Tonight at Graffiti’s on Elm Street, 7:00 pm, there will be a meet and greet. Everyone pays for whatever they order (appetizers/drinks). It is a chance to catch up with your favorite player.

Thursday night we’ll once again meet and greet at Natty Greens on the 2nd floor, 7:00 pm. Everyone pays for their own. (appetizers/drinks).

Friday will be dinner at Greens Supper Club – Choice of chicken or prime rib with baked potato, salad, bread, tea for $24.21 (includes tax and tip)or you can order off the menu.7:00 pm

There will be a hospitality room at the Clairion Hotel on Swing Road open each day 3:00-6:00 and in the evenings after each of the get togethers. There will be finger food available at no charge. If you would like more information, please call Pat Anderson at 336-986-8296.
