Page moves football game to Saturday and Ragsdale now 100% sure they are going on Saturday night too

Page has moved their Round One playoff game with East Mecklenburg to Saturday night at 7pm and the word from Jamestown is that the Ragsdale Tigers are looking at their field nearly under water, and now they are 100% sure they will make the same move for their game with Watauga…..

Page and Ragsdale now both set for Saturday with Page kicking it off at 7pm and according to the NCHSAA they have Ragsdale going at 7pm also and we did get one report that the Tigers were going at 7:30 and we will get a confirmation on that for you soon…

If we get more we will let you know and for teams that might have a good chance to host a Round Two game, it makes good sense not to kill your field with a game tonight, that would destroy the surface and maybe ruin or kill all your grass before your next home contest….

Games that might still be on include:
Asheboro at Northern Guilford
High Point Central at Glenn
Kinston at High Point Andrews
Northwest Guilford at Richmond County

  1. Page AD Rusty Lee told us this morning that he is still working on it and that he should know something by this afternoon and will inform us here at the site…..

  2. I’m glad Page had decided to move their game to tomorrow night. Actually, I was hoping for an even later date.

I just can’t get possible injuries out of my mind with the wet fields and all….

At any cost, I’ll be there rooting them on.

    Emily–check your e-mail in a few…I’m about to shoot you a message.
