from the High Point Enterprise and www.hpe.com:

Ragsdale’s Tommy Norwood has been named Coach of the Year and DeSean Anderson has been tabbed as offensive POY, while High Point Central’s Jimmy Moorman is the defensive POY for the second straight year, as Moorman grabbed the same honor last year in the Metro 4-A…

And here are your award winners from the pages of the HPE….

Piedmont Triad 4A:
Ragsdale picked up offensive player of the year honors for DeSean Anderson and coach of the year honors for Tommy Norwood. Other Tigers landing on the all-conference squad were Chris Armwood, Elliott Cobb, Cedric Ellison, Luke Heavner, Daniel McNeil, Darius McQueen, Kasey Redfern, Tyler Ritter, D-onovan Smith, Walt Sparks and Billy Stone.

High Point Central’s Jimmy Moorman repeated as the Piedmont Triad 4A defensive player of the year. Other Bison on the All-PTC football team were Drew Adams, Evan Aguilar, Derek Grant, Akeem Langham, Martize Smith and Jonathan White.

Southwest Guilford’s All-PTC footballers were Bracy Bonham, Jalen Kitching and Airyn Willis.

Jimmy Moorman is the POY in all of Guilford County.

  • fbfan2 said,

Moorman is a decent player but no where even close to the POY in all of guilford county

Agreed. Nice kid but highly over-rated. Easy to block, doesn’t get off his blocks at all.

Congratulations to all the kids. Anyone know where to see the entire list broke down by positions?

We grabbed these findngs from the High Point Enterprise and we wish we had a copy of the full list too. This grouping didn’t even mention the NWG boys.

If you hear of another source for this list please let us know….
