It was tough to watch. McMichael couldn’t hit a shot.

    Ragsdale Boys – 70
    Parkland – 59

Ragsdale had been behind entire game, trailing 41 – 38 going to final quarter. Beniah Wise hit two threes and a layup to start the fourth to give Ragsdale their first lead at 46 – 41 and were only up by three at 51 – 48 with 4:20 to go when the foul shooting parade began. One referee took over the game and from that point on Ragsdale shot 22 foul shots in the last 4 minutes hitting 15 of them. Two technicals called on Parkland and the same referee called all of them. He even threw the Ragsdale scorekeeper out of the game when he asked for clarifications on who fouls were called on. Never seen anything like it…Completely out of control. Anyway…Ragsdale went on to win their first Piedmont Triad Conf game and are now 3 – 5 overall. Beniah Wise had 20 points including 4 treys and Kalik Parker had 17 with three long balls.

    Ragsdale Girls – 48
    Parkland – 41

Ragsdale Lady Tigers fell behind 10 – 0 to start the game, cut the deficit to 13 – 9 after one quarter and went ahead halfway through the second quarter. Ragsdale was led by Ciara Jackson with 12 points. Lindsay Lee had 9 and Emma Sonricker had 8 as the girls improved to 6 – 1

the Ragsdale score keeper – you mean coach jones that runs the clock or someone that sits on the bench? I started to go tonight – as much as I’d like to see the win I’m glad I missed the spectacle – refs that make themselves the focus of the game need to find another hobby.

The official score keeper…none other than coach j. It was a real spectacle. Hope we don’t see that referee crew again, but probably will. They called a total of 6 fouls in first half, then 8 in the third before things got out of control in the fourth. One ref made 90% of the calls.

Thanks to all the coaches who sent in scores tonight and to the others who passed the results to us.

We had a good turn out this evening and again thanks….
