*****NG girls were down 10 late and made a huge comeback effort to cut the lead to 2-3 points with a minute to play, but just couldn’t get some of their shots to fall to pull this one out….Solid effort by Lindsey Puckett and the RC Cougars to grab the road victory….*****

Boys game was 23-9 NG after one quarter, Nighthawks up 36-18 at the half and 56-20 Northern at the end of three periods…..

  1. RC-NG girls stats not in Greensboro News & Record-the home team is supposed to report scores & stats-looks like RC would have called that one in.

  2. Northern never got into the flow of the game and Rockingham played very well. Lindsay Puckett had a really good game. There were a lot of missed layups and open jump shots. Rockingham rebounded the ball well. There weren’t a lot of second opportunities. Rockingham also hit their free throws down the stretch.
