Our Big Three in the ACC looked to be in the Dead Sea on Saturday

It was like Black Saturday for our in-state ACC men’s basketball teams yesteday with N.C State, Duke and Wake Forest all falling to conference foes and this stinks, this early in the season. At least one of our teams should have won and I saw portions of the N.C. State-Virginia game and one has to wonder if the Wolfpack will ever put a competitive team on the court again.

Tracy Smith, Dennis Horner, Scott Wood and whoever else was out there, blew a 10-point second half lead and the Pack got smacked at home again and in the ACC conference battles again…..

Were any of those three guys, Horner, Smith and Wood highly sought after? If so, then why?????? State is supposed to be getting a Five-star point guard coming into Raleigh next year. The kid, Ryan Harrow is from Georgia and he could be a big boost, if he doesn’t change his mind. Maybe his parents can talk him into going down to the store, while the N.C. State games are on TV this season….

Here are the results from yesterday and what is due up for today with the first three games you see, being part of the Big Three, that all went down on Saturday…..Virginia Tech at North Carolina due up at 7:45 this evening…….
