WFMY News 2 on the fence about Duke’s Cutcliffe going to Tennessee: Lock or unlock?

Will Duke’s head football coach David Cutcliffe be headed to Tennessee?

News 2 is reporting in a very interesting story at DigTriad.com that David Cutcliffe is a lock to head out to Tennessee and take the Volunteers job, in effect replacing Lane Kiffin.

News 2 also has sources in Tennessee that tell them that Cutcliffe is not going to take the job and he is staying put at Duke….

  1. Cutcliffe would be a great choice. Former SEC coach. Lots of integrity, at least for the SEC.

If I were UT I would hire Leach. UT is one of the few programs that could withstand the firestorm and with all their transgressions Leach makes UT look good.

  2. News 2 – your source for comedy once again proves that they are not credible. News 2 has sunk to the depths of news mockery. Their Sports team (or guy) is inept at delivering any sort of play by play that makes sense. WFMY needs to invest in some on-air talent that will cover local sports in a reliable manner. They used to be enjoyable to watch. Now it’s painful.
