*****None of the game stats really reach out and grab you with Dudley going 6-7 at the foul line and GW Danville hitting 9-12 at the line….
Dudley was 2-8 from three-point range and GWD was 0-6 with neither team setting the woods on fire….
One area that did catch my attention was the fact that GWD turned the ball over 12 times and Dudley only suffered 7 turnovers and maybe those points off of turnovers helped push the Panthers toward the positive….
Dudley out-rebounded GW Danville 33-26…..
Overall shooting, Dudley was 26-54 from the field for 48.1% and GWD went 14-40 for 35% shooting from the floor…..You can see a big difference in this category and that is definitely one area where there was a large gap….
The gym at Dudley was pretty much sold-out tonight. You could have squeezed a few more bodies in there, but not many….
Game got started just before 8pm and it appeared the players and coaches were all ready, but that maybe the refs were running late on the way to game and they hit the court to begin their pre-game responsibilites, at just about 10 minutes till 8 o’clock…Not sure if the referees were planning on an 8pm start all along, but all the fans, players and coaches were ready to rumble at 7:30pm…….*****
