  1. I think the Perkins kid has quieted some of the critics…25 on smith on sat, and 28 tonite…I think the coach at Western Carolina knew what he was doing when he offered him this summer….

  2. great win for the panthers in this one. they also quieted the critics who thought they were a one man team. they came out with excellent balanced scoring tonight without pj hairston who thought it would be best for himself to sit out this game. dudley stepped up big time against a talented hornet squad. Brennen wyatt showed why he is Navy bound after this season. reggie dillard also played a heck of a game too. reggie perkins of western guilford got some skills on him…..he kept his squad in it all night… he played very well tonight. hats off to western guilford.

  3. Great game tonight for the Panthers. Balanced scoring and a chance for all the players to show they are a legitimate team. Wyatt was great with no turnovers, with great ballhandling and a true floor general. Dillard was great in rebounding and played great defense.Hunt and Richmond are going to be phenomenoal and showed it tonight. Overall the entire team was great and I hope everyone recognizes that PJ is a outstanding player and truly a standout performer but his team is great and they all contribute to the success of the Dudley team. Can’t wait until Friday when PJ returns because they are going to put on a show as a team.

  4. On Riggie Perkins , A broken clock is right two times
A day. Two good games he has to show more
consistency. Let’s see how the next couple of weeks go.
He should have been putting up these type
of numbers.. Let’s see how he does when PJ comes back.

  5. Dudley#1 Fan, Reggie Perkins can put those numbers up consistently if his “Awesome” Coach would allow him to play and stop being an ego maniac playing mind games! This kid can play. I would love to see him with the ball in his hands more. Stop hating Dude!

  6. It is not suprising that Dudley won without PJ. They have a bunch of very good players. Also, when you have a point guard like Wyatt, you will be in every game. He really controls the game and distributes the ball well. The Naval Academy is getting a great leader.

  7. Dear “Perk Fan”,
I am sorry you are not on the bench anymore but, to be honest, it was probably not a good idea anyway. Coach Wade seems like a good guy and a pretty good coach. He has played and coached, so I respect his credentials. If he were too hard on little Reggie early in the year, then based on his performance recently versus early, I think the “tough love” scenario has worked. That’s what coaching is all about anyway, isn’t it? Finding ways to get the most out of players and helping them get the maximum out of their talent and helping them be successful. Hats off to Coach Wade.
    Thomas
PS. Reggie may even be able to withdraw his verbal to WCU if he continues to work hard.

  8. To “Thomas”..I am not “Perk Fan” and I did not make those negative comments about Coach Wade…I am glad that Coach Wade is hard on him…I agree with everything you said about Coach Wade..He has been good for Western Guilford and my son…
