After a 13-12 lead by the Panthers at the end of the first quarter, the Comets poured in 26 points in the second quarter to lead at the half and were never challenged after that.
Saegan Hilliard went 7 of 12 from the field and 10 of 11 from the charity stripe for 26 points to lead the Comets with Deshaun Jones adding 16 and Christian Trogdon adding 11 points. Hilliard has scored 104 points in his last 4 games for a 26 ppg average.
