HS hoops from last night and we should get in a full slate of games this evening

Oak Hill (Va.) 78
Oak Ridge Military 61

*****Oak Hill improves to (21-2) and Oak Ridge falls to (17-7)…..*****

There should be a full slate of games tonight and scroll down a few spaces and you will see tonight’s schedule that we posted here late last night. All games should be OK for this evening and as for Friday, that might be a different story.

  1. Tyler Sanborn from Guilford would be a load to stop…..Very hard to move out of the lane on offense and defense…He gets a ton of easy rebounds by just being near the basket and knowing how to use his body to clear out the lane…….

*****Oak Hill 87-65 over Dudley and 78-61 over Oak Ridge, for what it is worth.*****

  2. Are you kidding me, Oak Hill would beat the daylights out of Guilford College! This is my last post on this subject….In my opinion, ORMA and these other powerhouses they play would beat D3 schools day in and day out, PERIOD!! Im not talking about ORMA and GC specifically, im talking about top HS teams aganist D3 teams. Most of these D3 kids havent faced the talent or will never face the talent that these HS teams face game after game. I played D2 baseball and i can assure u that my high shcool team would have given us a run for our money!! Good luck to Guilford College and ORMA the rest of the season, no matter what, you are representing guilford county and I wish you the best of luck!

  3. then mike you just made it clear you have no concept of the difference in high school and college basketball. it is a completely different game and few, if any, play with enough in high school to match the college game. I didnt even mention the fact that it would be men vs young men.

  4. Just to let you kno that score was no where near as lopsided as the score indicates. if they would have played on a neutral court the score would have be a lot closer. oak hill hasn’t lost a home game in 5 years. And their officiating is one sided.
