UNCG looks to bounce back from Thursday’s heartbreaking loss at Furman with a visit to Wofford on Saturday night. The Spartans squandered a 17-point first-half lead in falling to Furman, 72-64, missing 20 of 21 from the field in one stretch.

Ben Stywall has been impressive this season. In the last six games, Stywall has five doubles-doubles and is averaging 18.0 ppg and 13.7 rpg, while shooting 50 percent from the floor. He leads the conference in rebounding at 10.5 rpg and is eighth in scoring at 14.2 ppg. He leads the league with 11 double-doubles, eight against the SoCon and three against ACC teams. He is 15th in the nation in rebounding and 20th in double-doubles.

UNCG has lost five straight to Wofford. The Terriers leads the all-time series, 14-9. UNCG’s last win in the series came on Nov. 27, 2006 at Fleming Gym, 77-54, meaning the senior class is 1-5 all-time against the Terriers.
