Wertz Jr. says United Faith’s Ian Miller is the best player in Mecklenburg County

Oak Ridge Military Academy; with Jay Canty, Christian McCain, Jacob Lawson, Joseph Uchebo, Asad Lamont, Michael Neal, Chris Richmond and Carlos Rankins among others, just defeated United Faith Christian Academy from Charlotte last night(78-76) at ORMA and Langston Wertz Jr. from the Charlotte Observer, says United Faith’s Ian Miller is the best player coming out of Meklenburg County this year.

Miller is headed to Florida State and Wertz Jr. has more praise for other members of the United Faith squad, especially the younger big men…..

Here’s the word from Wertz and you can get it all from the start to the finish when you Click Here…..

The first word from Wertz:
The best player I’ve seen in Mecklenburg County this season, by far, is United Faith’s Ian Miller. I still can’t believe he is getting out of state to play college. I knew he could handle the ball and shoot. I didn’t know he could make all these high-flying dunks in traffic like he did. Miller’s also stronger than he looks, making bigger players fly off of him in the air several times. Florida State is getting a gem. And a good kid.

United Faith’s sophomore big men, Hanner Perea and Peter Jurkin, both have trouble catching the ball. They don’t have much experience, but, boy, are they athletic. There’s a reason ESPN ranks Jurkin 16th nationally in his class and Perea 25th. Within a few years, they will have their pick of colleges.
