Due to the inclement weather last week, the new date for the NWHS student athlete
signing ceremony will be Thursday, 2/11 at 3pm in the media center at NWHS. Since
our originally scheduled ceremony, we have discovered that one other athlete will
also be signing. Golfer Will Ferrell will be signing on Thursday with Mars Hill.
All members of the media, families, and friends are invited to attend.
The following athletes will be honored on Thursday:
Vedad Ahmetovic– soccer, Mt. Olive
Cristian Alphonso– soccer, UNC Chapel Hill
Will Ferrell– golf, Mars Hill
Lauren Lover– soccer, UNC Greensboro
Jennifer McGorty– soccer, Elon

i know wills dad very well matter of fact i have known will since he was about 12 years old didnt know he was such a good golfer but he is a good kid comes from a good family glad to see him do good hope he can win an open one day
