  1. so does everyone play in their conf tourneys? when? how are the playoffs set up? im just curious how the postseason works for hsbb. ??? thanks

  2. With most conferences everyone gets in, although there are some exceptions and the Tournaments will get rolling next Monday and Tuesday depending on if all their conference games have been made up…..

#1 seed vs. lowest seed and so on and in some cases top team would get a bye and then enter in at the semifinal round, but with time no becoming a factor, there won’t be many off days next week, although some leagues may finish up on Saturday….

  3. thanks andy. very well put. quick question. is there anywhere i can find player statistics? like ppg apg rpg

  4. For stats go to the bottom of this home page here on the site and go to the MaxPreps listing and click on Leaderboards….

They won’t have every school, but they will have several including Dudley, NEG, SEG, Ragsdale, and others and they will give you ppg, rpg, assists, FG%, FT% and more and for instance, I believe PJ Hairston is still the scoring leader at 28.8 ppg…

Max Preps at the bottom of the page with the leaderboards….

  5. On the standings, remember that Page and Grimsley both have at least two games left to play in the regular season with Page at Dudley/Grimsley at SEG TONIGHT and then Page at Grimsley now set for Monday evening…..(Page-Southern Alamance on Saturday….)

  6. Coaches must enter information in Max preps and some teams don’t keep stats other than scoring..

  7. This has got to be the wildest finish to a season ever…

WG was supposed to play Southern Alamance on Saturday and now I guess that is why they moved WG-SA to Monday so SA and Page could play on Saturday and then Page and Grimsley end up playing on Monday…..

I am not going to say a whole on this deal, but you do need a road map to keep up and I am just going sit back and keep on following this finish to the regular season, go with the flow and hope the weather hangs on and we can all play tonight….

A very intresting week so far with:
United Faith at ORMA last Saturday
    Smith at Page on Monday
East Forsyth at NWG and Dudley at WG on Tuesday
SEG Middle at Hairston and WG at SEG on Wednesday and
    Grimsley at Smith on Thursday….
Page at Dudley Tonight and Saturday, who’s next?????

This has been a wild week…..

  8. ANDY – The Max Prep site has Wyatt at number #3 and Pawlowski at #6 in North Carolina for Assists. Are there other point guards in our area with a better assist record?

  9. Stats – Max prep list the top 500 in the state, if those two Point Guards are rated as you state, that is most likely the best in our area. Christian Pulliam stats are not listed but with Wyatt at 7.4 and Pawlowski 6.3 that would be hard to squeeze in there.

  10. It’s all about scoring on this site. Assists don’t count, however, if we converted the assists to baskets, lets see, not counting 3 point assists, these guys account for 14.8 and 12.6 points per game along with what ever they score themselves. Nice work guys, this is the only headline you will get. The glory goes to the run and guns not the playmakers.

  11. Butch Huffman, the point guard for Eastern Guilford has to be up there in assists too. if recorded correctly. the kid is like pistol pete out there @ times..
